This site gives information only

This site shows public information about Medicare Advantage and Part D (drug) plans. It is not insurance, legal, medical or financial advice. It does not tell you which plan to choose.

Who we are not

Where the data comes from, and its limits

Our data comes from public files published by CMS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Census Bureau. See how we work it out.

This data can be wrong or out of date. CMS sometimes corrects its files, and our site may take time to catch up. We may also make mistakes, for example when matching a ZIP code to a county.

Always confirm with your plan's Annual Notice of Change or the letter from your plan saying it is ending, Medicare Plan Finder (opens in a new tab), or 1-800-MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227) (TTY 1-877-486-2048).

When we say a plan is "probably being replaced," that is our own match. It is based on a plan from the same company with the same name. It is not a statement from CMS or the insurer.

No warranty

We work hard to get things right, but we make no promise that the information on this site is accurate, up to date or free of errors. The site is provided "as is," without any warranty.

Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or harm that comes from using this site or relying on it, including choices you make about your coverage. Please check anything important with your plan, Medicare Plan Finder or 1-800-MEDICARE before you act on it.

Using our data

You may reuse our tables and downloads if you link back to this site. The government data behind them is in the public domain. Please don't present our content as coming from the government.

Links to other websites

We link to other sites, such as Medicare.gov, to help you. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for what they say.

Company and plan names

Insurance company and plan names are trademarks of their owners. We use them only to identify plans, as CMS lists them. Their use does not mean any company is connected with this site or has reviewed it.

No arbitration

These terms do not include an arbitration clause, and they do not take away your right to join a class action.

Changes

We may change the site or these terms. When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.
